We always like to know what some of our favorite artists carry in their purses (and man-purses)—the essential items that they need for touring, subway rides, an awards show or any other thing that they might be doing these days. I always have a sketchbook, pen and black Sharpie to jot down look ideas, lyrics and thoughts. I keep a photobooth strip of me and my partner in crime, Antonio, and a pair of circle shades because the sun gets on my nerves. The passport is because I'm trying to be mad international and there's a Chinese paper fan because I sweat way too much. Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now calms me down and makes me feel still. I have a photo of my mom—she is everything to me. Aveeno Simply Radiant is the ONLY moisturizer. Manic Panic Hair Gel and then Maybeline mascara for a drastic brow. I take Kroger Men's multi-vitamins everyday. Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford is my spirit scent.

I carry it all in a clear plastic backpack given to me by my House Father, Michael Magnan, two years ago for my birthday. I love it because it forces people to get into my private life
