New Orleans native Mystikal says his recent Cash Money signing has given him new life. “It has been a truly long time since I have felt like a rapper and with this signing, and partnership, Birdman and Slim have given me my life as a rapper back.” It's weird that the No Limit refugee, out of jail since last January, hasn't felt like a great rapper in 2011. Because he's rapped like one, on an explosive verse from Waka Flocka's "Cooking Up 1000 Grams" and in a Mannie Fresh-led studio cypher with Juvenile. "Original" sounds like a song from Birdman and Lil Wayne’s excellent 2006 album, Like Father, Like Son, with the addition of Mystikal rapping crazy raps (How the fuck you gon watch my house but ain't wanna live on my street?). This is the best thing! Mystikal's debut Cash Money album is due next year. He's pumped. “I am ready to go, I am going to put my red Superman drawers, cape and boots on and go!"
