Much of Elite Gymnastics' mix for Opening Ceremony sounds like the soundtrack to the speed-round of Nintendo 64 beach level of Wave Racer: False coconuts falling everywhere, a light breeze and lots of hope for a win. Alternately, these songs—from Japan's false eyelash mogul/visionary Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, pop songwriter Anri and boy-trio Ravex—would sound completely at home in the contemporary, real life version of that, which is the inside of a fro-yo store. Appropriately, Unicorn Kid's "Boys of Paradise," the mix's penultimate track, is now playing at a Pinkberry near you.
