Halls’ video for "I Am Not Who You Want," shot by Sebastian Nevols of the BBC's
Blue Planet, features five straight minutes of a rose, though it takes a minute to realize that's what it is. Much like listening to the song, tracing streaks of color as they unravel around a single underwater flower is totally hypnotizing. It knocks you out, but it's just staring at a rose. It's just that one thing. Which on the one hand makes the unusually large number of screenshots I just took pretty crazy, obsessing over the
best arrangement of
colors, but also quite the testament to Nevols and Halls.
