Marlene Dietrich was known for her inspired headgear, and hat-maker Piers Atkinson has based his spring lookbook, "Hot Voodoo," on one of her most fantastically costumed movies, Blonde Venus, in which she performs a song in a full-on gorilla suit and a fluffy blonde wig. To update the 1930s classic for 2011, Atkinson invited his friends to a sick penthouse, filmed them preening and pruning on a low-grade handheld camera and set the entire thing to a Wild Nothing song instead of a pre-war jazz number.
