Last night we were all a bit torn to find that James Blake was playing right above our very own FADER #76 issue release party (how to be in two places at once?), which was held at the studio space beneath Webster Hall. Something about the juxtaposition felt appropriate, though. As early adopters, it felt good to be at his base, the proverbial ground beneath his feet. Not to mention we got to listen to another great live performance by Real Estate. It's good to spread the love. The consolation prize: A full stream of his Enough Thunder EP, which includes the excellent collaboration with Justin Vernon, "Fall Creek Boys Choir," and Blake's cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You." Good and mellow post-party music that will undoubtedly see us through the day.
