"Bug" is so good and catchy, but dark, and about a dude who rages and thrashes so often that it's not cool. In the Alan Tanner-directed video, Wavves band members Nathan and Stephen play real-life cartoons and make cartoon faces in their den in front of a Foo Fighters poster. After they drink all their Modelos, and then all their Coors Lights, there's a significant cameo by Heathcliff Berru, Wavves’ publicist. Berru says, "[Nathan] said I was gonna get shot by a mermaid. He lied!" True story—Berru gets away, Nathan and Stephen eat all the pills, the mermaid kills the cops.
