Internships are an increasingly popular employment opportunity in today’s shrinking economy. No longer exclusive to just college students, today’s interns are ambitious graduates and folks looking to break into a new industry. We asked interns around New York City what item of clothing is essential to their day-to-day grind. From a sports bra for underwire-forbidding prison facilities to self-tailored jackets for fashion houses, this is what they wear.
