It's crazy how with You Are All I See Active Child made an album that sounds like rain falling on a skylight. Not literally, though. It's just that it's a completely solitary record (except when How to Dress Well drops by for a duet/hang sesh) that sounds like the most personal project there could possibly be. At times we almost feel bad listening to it, like we're overhearing something so private that we should cover our ears. But that would be a bummer for everyone, especially Active Child, who is most likely hoping that many, many many people eavesdrop on the music he made. You Are All I See is out August 23rd on Vagrant.
