An appropriate title for the Hill-Side's new Autumn/Winter lookbook would be something like American Pastoral, given that most of the peeps in it are shown outdoors in some variation of utility wear. The brand gave photographer Michael Kennedy a whole bunch of its new scarves, ties and handkerchiefs, then sent him on a trip across the US and Puerto Rico. Along the way, he took pictures of interesting people wearing said items, and four months later he ended up with this little gem. While we imagine the whole experience must have been pretty draining, Kennedy's quixotic journey and ragtag team of characters definitely lend themselves to the clothing. It's not often you get to see pieces like this on real people in their natural element.
