This past weekend Nike hosted a day of sun and surf at their Rockaway11 Beach House. After two weeks operating under the radar, the house was open to Rockaway locals and early birds that made it down to the 5AM Dawn Patrol Surf crew where professional surfers were on hand to give efficient one-on-one lessons to Nike-clad newbies. There was also a squadron of bikes parked in front, perfect for a cruise down the boardwalk, and out in the backyard the grill was going all day as tired dogs lazed in the shade. It felt more like the West coast of California than the South coast of Queens, NY. Check out some of our flicks below.
