In only their second season of designing womenswear, this fall finds Engineered Garments artfully over-dressing ladies in deconstructed suiting and swathes of quilted nylon. Oddball layering subverts what could've been run of the mill heritage wardrobe pieces; the magic is in the mixing. Worlds collide when a polka dot blazer is worn under a cropped anorak hood. It feels a tad radical to place a reversible kilt on a woman.
