Before we could go to bars legally, going out in New York was a stress-filled gauntlet of suspicious bouncers and forced dorm room hanging. One of the only other alternatives was going to hookah bars, which—haahah. Hard times! Not that there's anything inherently bad about the concept of a hookah bar, it's just that it's bizarre that there are teenagers running around this place inhaling apple-strawberry-sandalwood flavored smoke for an endless number of hours. They're not exactly the mystical places we imagined them to be before we ever went inside one. That said, this Actress remix of Laurel Halo’s "Constant Index" goes a long way in wiping those hookah memories from our minds, replacing them instead with smokey, magical vibes and all sorts of imagery of a dream hookah bar that is actually awesome. We couldn't ask for anything more—except maybe a time machine to go back in time so we could tell our younger selves to go to less hookah bars.
