Continuing his acoustic trek across the globe, DJ N-RON (bka Daniel Perlin) transports us to Johannesburg for this edition of his Domus mixtape series. For this exploration of Jo'burg, a city truly in the hands of those who would shape it, Perlin tapped SA-born BLK JKS and visual artist Athi-Patra Ruga. In a group statement, BLK JKS vouch for pleasure of living in a place that's always changing: "While some look to European cities and envy their long-established routines, venues, and structures, there are those of us who see a blank canvas and embrace it." Weaving through concert halls and alleyways, they paint an aural portrait of this city in flux. Pump your speakers and go.
