Only Young L can make harsh music that may or may not be inspired by robots running into each other in a room with a heavy echo sound so good. Lately though, his solo material is inching toward something more accessible and less out in the stratosphere. "It's Your World" is a great example of that. At first, it's like, Oh Young L is doing a romantic song that includes a video directed by Aris Jerome with girl and a beach and also auto-tuned singing. But, of course, some Young L-isms creep in literally right away, with an industrial-sounding vibration that acts as percussion throughout. He even sings they say I'm different, they say I'm weird. Not a bad thing! Own it.
