Sub Pop! Quickly becoming home to all sorts of weirdness. From Shabazz Palaces’ out there stoned-brilliance to, um, Sebadoh reissues—the current batch of releases from the venerable Seattle label is as out there as it's ever been. Recently, they announced that they'd signed FADER #69 cover star Spoek Mathambo, and "Put Some Red on It" is the first track we've heard since. It sounds like it was made with a symphony of busted keyboards, and Spoek sounds appealingly awkward voicing over the top. The EP also includes a Shabazz Palaces remix and a Telepathe remix, both of which we're wildly stoked to hear, along with the rest of whatever Mathambo decides to do in the future.
