Beyonce isn't much for the internet, maintaining a certain mystique by not having Twitter and keeping her personal life out of Facebook photo albums. But the internet is tough to keep on lockdown, even for the powerful Beyonce, and her forthcoming album 4 has already leaked everywhere. In a fashion uncharacteristic for Beyonce, she went the digital route to address the controversy, posting a message on her Facebook wall:
My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.
Responding graciously and sweetly if not a little annoyed, B is facing the era, responding to what happens to her music in the cannibal age. It's not all bad, though: around 24,000 people have liked her comment, proving that while the web can trip her up, it can also serve as a meeting place for her mobilized army of fans.
