Kinda weird how dubstep as the world knows it has morphed into a roided out approximation of itself. It's all aggro bass tripping over itself and buried vocal samples these days, and while that can get tired pretty quickly, it's at least interesting seeing how people outside that world attempt to tackle music that sounds like getting punched in the face by the Terminator. Young L does that here with "Starry Eyed," a brief track that actually benefits quite a bit from its equally brief black and white video. Young L still shines brightest when he's focusing on his production, but "Starry Eyed" shows that we should all maybe pay a little more attention to his rapping as well.
