Ever since Prodigy was released from prison in March, him and Mobb partner Havoc have jumped right back into recording at a comfortable pace, but to a mixed success that usually hinges on the quality of the production. P himself has been on cruise control for the most part, sticking to his usual nonchalance but evoking very little of the nose breaking menace of his best work. This Havoc-laced collaboration with Jamacia Queens emcee Masaradi Fox might be the first of the new recordings to come close to the Prodigy of old, all calmly-lobbied threats of gun violence. He calls it "Tsunami Rap" but its closer to a ripple with mean undertow.
