** Diddy and his Dirty Money girls performed last Friday at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. After, Diddy's camp paid the NYPD to escort his car to Jersey, where he got paid a ton for a club performance. We were in that limo, talking to Diddy about our BIG Icon issue and the future of music. He said he never tried to sign Odd Future. We said we'll always call him Puffy.

** Odd Future formed their own label and signed a distribution deal without losing any creative control. Then, they arrived in London, where they kicked off a European tour and made some funny iPhone movies. At the same time, England's Prince William was married to Kate Middleton. His mother the Queen wore yellow, now trending.

** We interviewed the Web Sheriff about rights on the internet, talked with legendary composer Steve Reich about his new piece “WTC 9/11” and found out which of this years riddims are Diplo's favorites. At the same time in Canada, Nardwuar interviewed Lil Wayne, asking about his favorite foods and New Orleans history.

** Beyonce remade her live showstopper "Get Me Bodied" as "Move Your Body," a pro-active anthem for Michelle Obama's anti-obesity Lets Move! campaign. Could Beyonce have been first lady if she set her sights on different goals from a young age?

** We celebrated the release of FADER #73, our Notorious BIG Icon issue, with Danny Brown in a gorgeous room made entirely of windows. See photos!

** Slovenian artists Lucijan Kranjc and Anže Sekelj made with a beautiful light shower video for Star Slinger’s equally beautiful remix of Gold Panda’s “Marriage.”

** We wondered if The Wake might be the most influential band of all time, and if Wise Blood might be this year's most improved act.

** AND Mariah Carey had her twins! Happy babies, Mariah!
