Brian Eno is set to release a new collaborative album with writer/poet Rick Holland entitled Drums Between the Bells (July 5th on Warp). According to Eno's website, the two became acquainted while collaborating on "a map-making project in collaboration between students of the Royal College, the Guildhall School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, the National Youth Orchestra and the English National Ballet, among others." "Glitch" is the first track release off the album and features Holland's lyrics manipulated by computer, as if you were witnessing a robot reciting verse. Pre-order the album right now.
