Though the video for Caribou's "Jamelia" is awash in a misty pallor, the plot line is rather dark and follows a hazy narrative, in which a young girl innocently scoops up sea creatures from shiny tide pools, only to discover she is being preyed upon by a menacing murderer in a hoodie.
