It's be an understatement to say that Vancouver's Ladyhawk hold a special place in the collective FADER heart. Sure, they may burn brighter in the minds of certain editors, but these dudes—these dudes! It's not often that a band can distill the entire essence of being a young adult (not young adult as in, like, 14 but young adult as in a new, unsure adult) into just a couple albums worth of boozing and smoking and putting on the same record over and over again because you're just trying to figure your shit out and sleep well at night. We listen to Ladyhawk in those moments, not really sure what they listen to when they're feeling the same way though. New Ladyhawk music is exciting for us—even in demo form—so here's a fuzzy, early version of "No Can Do" to get us through the winter and also every dark time ever.
