Because when we were home over Christmas, our mom let us rip Alex Chilton's death notice out of The New York Times 2010 obituary round-up and we got really sad. She didn't know who Alex Chilton was or why we were upset. It made us feel 15, in love with our private rock star that parents couldn't understand. And then we realized it's 2011 and we're not 15.
