Over the holidays, while viewing Fantastic Mr. Fox with our preteen nieces and nephews, it dawned on us that there are thousands, if not millions, of young and old people around the world who only know Jarvis Cocker as stop-motion "Petey" with that doodle daddle song around the campfire. Actually, they may not even know it's Cocker unless they watched the credits for some reason. Our nieces and nephews could not care less about Pulp is all we're saying. But they do like to dance, so we're going to send them this video of "Petey" in IRL on a new DFA single and wait for the text back that says "You're weird."
