Last night, new-devil Tyler, The Creator twittered:
He did so probably to bait a bajillion responses from his ardent twam about how awesome the mosh pits at Odd Future shows this year in London and LA really, really were. But maybe he was jolted off Eminem and Lil Wayne's thrashed SNL performance this weekend. The belligerent kinds delivered the goofy song from Night At The Roxbury as an on-the-eighth step rehab anthem, Wayne dervish bouncing around the stage, pausing to hold his hand palm out close to his chest, to channel and push out the feelings. Can we talk about how Wayne's braids have never looked better? Come time for the second round (second video with "Won't Back Down" and "6 Foot 7 Foot" after the jump!) Jeff Bridges intro was all tight-faced Joker smile intense and Em was doing some high knee combo air shred/air drum/windmill arms that would likely make his current personal trainer and/or life coach very proud. Then all them boys in the band freaked out when they got to live-instrumental the biggest song of 2010 that happened at the end of December. When we rap Wayne songs in the mirror or dance to them at the bar after 1am, we need a whole radius of room to body-language tell how enormous the situation is. Wayne looks about as excited as that about this song but still knows he's on television, that he has to keep his lower leg waggles and hand-talking at session dude's guitar minimal, as a courtesy. Sorry Cory Gunz, NBC couldn't front you some MetroCard money to get down there from the Bronx? Maybe you're already on vacation?
