The Babies, the side project kinda sorta primary project of Kevin Morby of Woods and Cassie Ramone of Vivian Girls (both of whom sing) have announced their debut LP out on Shrimper in February of next year and "Run Me Over" is the first single from the self-titled album. We called them an oldies band last week talking about their first two 7-inches, and that still feels true, classic and timeless rock ’n’ roll for road trips that would sit well next to Phil Spector girl groups or Bob Seeger riff sessions. And you know what, it might be the tambourine that makes it in the end. So perfect. The Babies, appropriately, will be heading into the sun come winter, playing some west coast dates in January, check those after the jump.
