In the past year, Planet Mu has worked hard to bring to the real world—not just the expansive world of YouTube—the Chicago sound of footwork with albums by DJ Roc, DJ Rashad and DJ Nate. Dance music that splintered from its slightly more known cousin juke and sprinkled the repetitive thrust of ghetto tech, footwork is, well, really fun to listen to. Bangs and Works, Planet Mu's pretty massive 25-track compilation, has songs from every corner of the genre, both the super minimal "Live and Let Die" sampling "Eraser" from OG RP Boo and the Lion King sampling "Jungle Juke" from Tha Pope.
