It takes a special talent to bottle teen angst and get it out there in a not cheesy way. Like, most adults cannot figure out how to do this, and most kids are too lame to capture that feeling in a way that is not bad poetry. Apparently Zoo Kid, who is 16, has it down though. Because "Has this Hit" is a baroque piece of smoggy beer soaked downer rock that sits somewhere between a drunken Joy Division acapella and the sound of a dude figuring out exactly how to tell the rest of the world how fucked up it feels to be a teenager.
