The somewhat unheralded folk singer Jackson C. Frank recorded one especially emotionally brutal song, "Blues Run the Game" which penetrated enough that it was covered by Nick Drake, Counting Crows, Bert Jansch, Simon and Garfunkel (who produced Frank's album of the same name) and now Laura Marling. She performed her version of the song for BBC 1 DJ Zane Low. Living is a gamble, baby, loving's much the same. Sounds so real no matter who's mouth it comes out of. After she performs, Marling gives a bit of a history lesson, too.
