Though the story behind this collection is about two American youths dabbling in the counterculture of the 1960s, French designer Olivier Borde's spring/summer 2011 lookbook seems undeniably Parisian, staying cool and betraying any of the nerves that might come with revolutionary territory. Working with a subdued pallette of blues, khaki and white, Borde's casual pieces hold an air of simple refinement while keeping it rough around the edges, literally with raw hems on some of the tailored separates. We love Borde's Frenchy take on young Americans and the good ole red white and blue, too. See a reworked American flag polo after the jump.
