Fifteen minutes of Wavves doing the damn thing for you live on KEXP. God only knows how many grunge superstars have tread the same hollowed Seattle radio ground. Regardless of their predecessors, the radio studio is a wholly appropriate place for the San Diegans, who are operating in full echo zone. "King of the Beach" sounds like it was recorded in a cave. A cave over by a green river, if you see what we're saying.
