If Delorean's "Real Love" wasn't already otherworldly and over the top like making out in a planetarium or something, Lights Over LA (from Phoenix, naturally) shifted the liplocking into zero-gravity overdrive, wrapping it in a warm layer of squelch that make the original's lush beats sound nearly sparse. And though it hints at lightweight dubstep at the beginning with the stutter of a tom, it spirals out in bursts, cutting out most of the vocals and letting Delorean's Gerber baby synth sample do most of the blissful talking. Somebody's trying to make our hearts explode. Or maybe just our cars.
