Chopped and screwed music has recently been enjoying a resurgence in some of the most unlikely places lately. And by unlikely places we mostly just mean dudes in rock bands slowing their own shit down and/or making weird late-night syrup slow remixes. Vancouver's Babe Rainbow, however, went a completely straight route, choosing to chop up and slow down classic jams in a completely straightforward way, and he pulls it off really well. It's been awhile since we spent much time with Company Flow, but hearing "Silence" slowed to a crawl is wildly refreshing, especially when "Mommy, What's a Gravedigga" comes soon after. Why isn't their more screwed down horrorcore?
