We were sitting here minding our own business when we heard the weirdest sound: a sort of shallow whoosh that seemed to come from all directions. We thought it was an urban tornado, but it turns out it was just the collective gasp of Arcade Fire fans clicking on a link to 30 second samples of the band's new album. It was a sort of hot breeze that smelled like cigarette butts and kombucha. Pleasant. What is not so pleasant is that 30 seconds of an Arcade Fire song doesn't really tell you shit. But we're patient. And getting excited. The Suburbs will be all up in your business on August 3rd.
