Interpol is as reliable as clockwork. If your clock was dressed in a finely tailored black pinstripe suit and carried a monocle, loved and hated Joy Division, flirted with the mainstream and then decided to come back home. That home is Matador Records, where Interpol now finds itself again, after a one album love affair with Capitol. It must be good to be back home because they've gotten comfortable again, commissioning a video with pale women with dark hair in vaguely fetishistic clothing. It's a bummer reliable Carlos D is not around to revel in the darkness, but serious OG David Pajo has been brought in to play bass and Interpol is out September 7th.
