This actually turned out a lot better than we were expecting. David Banner is a great producer in his own right, so ideally we'd hear an entire album of him rapping over his own production (we'd also be into a Crooked Lettaz reunion, but that's a whole other thing). Instead, he went ahead and recorded an entire LP with 9th Wonder, who often has good ideas, but uses the same distracting snare sound on most of his beats. He uses it here too, but Banner's voice is a good foil, a gruff jumping off point for the best aspects (the samples) of 9th Wonder's production style. Also, he can act, so they can make like a million videos together and they'll all be entertaining.
