On Pantha Du Prince's recent Black Noise he lulled us with the constant soft clatter of bells and hypnotic repetition, only really interrupting the calm vibe with a guest appearance by Panda Bear. Animal Collective turn up here, remixing late-album cut "Welt Am Draht" in a way that could fit as an extension of the original version. Bells still chime throughout, there's a soft clatter of drums...basically the whole thing sounds like it was recorded in a monastery. It's more soothing than a massage, and it's free so it's cheaper too. Tour dates after the jump.
