The concept that his break-out track was called "Fuck Dat Hipster Shit" could have painted Grip Plyaz as curmudgeonly, like your older brother who complains you're playing your music too loud, but "Step Out" is is the exact song we want to hear at 11pm in humid, 90-degree mythically NYC-hot weather. It's a track that sounds like A/C feels, Grip Plyaz' smooth Georgia drawl so contagiously chill and devil-may-care, from the prelude to his forthcoming Purp, Wind & Fire, which is obviously a genius name. Dude stop worrying about what everyone else is doing, stay in your own sick lane!
