Suicide frontman Alan Vega originally recorded "Bye Bye Bayou" in 1980. In this video for LCD Soundsystem's cover, it looks like they traveled to that year, got a luded-out NYU film undergrad to shoot the video in Beta, brought it back to 2010 and ran it through a prism function on Final Cut. James Murphy looks cool positioned as a psychedelic ghost for this track (first released last October), though at times he looks like a psychic imprint itching to break through the screen like Michael Keaton's White Noise nightmare.
