We're feeling a little bad right now because when we first heard about Nika and Rory, our first reaction was pretty much, Holy shit we have hit critical mass there are already people making poppier versions of Zola Jesus songs what is the world coming to? But then like 30 seconds later we realized this was actually just Nika Roza Danilova aka Zola Jesus teaming up with fellow Madison, Wisconsinite and bandmate Rory Kane to make poppier versions of Zola Jesus songs. This is for you if you felt like you could get down with Danilova's voice (and, actually, if you weren't really feeling the duo's previous collaboration "LA SUXXX (The Choice)"), but couldn't handle the ultra-depressing dirge vibes. This is also for you if, like us, you got into those vibes (good for depressing walks home really late at night!), but were also curious what it would sound like if those powerful pipes were used for a song that had a chance of ending up on someone's radio station somewhere in the world.
