New Fall 2010 from Swedish Hasbeens, Trovata and More

April 05, 2010

Williamson PR reps a long list of our favorite designers, and we recently stopped by their showroom to take a look at new things for fall 2010, from accessories (Swedish Hasbeens, the OG clog) to rising menswear label General Idea. After the jump check out a smattering of our favorite picks for the fall.

Swedish Hasbeens
Swedish Hasbeens have enjoyed a cult following for a few years now, and there are standout styles for both seasons. Their classic clog ankle boot (above) comes in a bunch of new colors next season, and there's even a knee-high rainbow boot on the horizon, available in boy sizes too.

General Idea
We've had our eye on menswear line General Idea, since the Korean label started showing in New York a few seasons ago. Creative director Bumsuk Choi was the youngest designer ever to show at Seoul Fashion Week and keeps that youthful spirit intact. The new outerwear is gorgeous, especially this double-breasted blue number. Quirkier still are the shoes—chunky hiking boots wrapped in monochrome ponyskin.

Trovata
Trovata are always a great go-to for wardrobe staples, and there are a ton of good layering pieces for the fall, including his and hers khaki trench coats. The gorgeous floor-length shirt dresses we are obsessed with this season have been reincarnated in purple silk for the fall, as well.

Mykita
Mykita sunglasses are endlessly fascinating to look at, not just because of the unorthodox frames (Bernard Willhelm is a Mykita collaborator) but also because of the technology that goes into making each pair. Cut from sheet metal and acetate, there are zero screws on these sunnies, and all of the joints are held together by snap-hinge design.
