BAM! This is out of nowhere, but it works. After it became clear that no one had plans to abandon vocal effects and reverb-heavy guitar, we were more interested in seeing where they might take it next. In this case, Katy Goodman of Vivian Girls (and occasional FADER.com video game reviews) and Gregg Foreman, who often plays as a part of Cat Power, teamed up to blast all that fuzz into outer space. Who knows if this project will materialize into anything more than a couple singles, but it is a promising start.
