Another banger from Brixton producer Photomachine, this little mean-mugger is the kind of thing UK media people are calling future garage (which UK beatmaker people are getting mad at them for). It's definitely got space odyssey vibes, though, like the basso synth was made under a giant microscope in an airless chamber, and a twitchy pitch that lends just a dash of paranoia to the joint. And, as is Photomachine's signature, it never gets staid, flipping around between samples, ideas and drum and threading them together with the ominousness. Also, if you are a kicks-and-keys fetishist, you should go check out this dude's MySpace, he's got a small collection of gems.
