Carly Margolis usually mixes up an inspirational cocktail of about five influences when she goes to work on a collection—science fiction, mythology, tribalism, futurism and something ancient—and the five marvelous plimsolls she's designed for Keds are a gorgeous tongue-in-cheek combo of them all. There's an accompanying video on the site that shows Margolis crafting necklaces up in her studio in the Catskills, a stellar line of jewelry that we posted last week. The collaboration has been up for a month, but we still haven't decided which of the design elements to slip our toesies into yet. Do we opt for Sweetheart Feet? Or go straight earthy with the Barnacle Bill Shoes?
