Around this time last year, Bethany Cosentino was a young, budding intern here at The FADER, punching in her time card every day like the rest of us. Today she goes by the name of Best Coast, has blonde hair, lives in sunny Southern California (which she constantly dares to flaunt in front of our East Coast-loving faces), and is pretty much the coolest girl we know. Alex Frank, resident style assistant, at least thinks so. And yesterday, between the buzz and the shows and more buzz, Alex got to interview his best friend and former intern buddy on camera in our swanky room at the Ace Hotel, where we're staging this year's Levi's®/FADER Fort during CMJ.
