Call us classicists, but Freeway remains one of our favorite rappers. We are also great admirers of his beard, which according to this video has grown exponentially more awesome since we last saw him (perhaps Freeway's beard growth was encouraged by its eponymous song, "Freeway's Beard"). We ran the track back a few times, trying to figure out if Free actually rhymed "rap hippopotamus" with "free money conglomerate." It sounds like it, but either way he's going hard, particularly with the ever deepening rasp catching on the low end of his voice and lines like "put em over my knee and spank all of 'em" (regarding wack rappers).
