The synths on this song sound like digital farts. It's unavoidable, so let's get that out of the way. Okay, so now let's talk about how this makes you do that dance where you are like an eagle or an airplane. Not really a dance, just kind of a gimpy twirl. Metronomy, who lend themselves easily and happily to remix, are here flattened and relaxed by Joakim who, honestly, seems like he might be a bit of a goober. Not in a bad way, but his MySpace address is "myspace.com/jimibazzouka" and there is no way he doesn't know half his song sounds like bad gas. So maybe we'll go with "playful" instead of "goober," because if you're going to be a trickster it's better to be a French discomeister trickster than some asshole in a flash mob.
