With lo-fi bands popping up out of nowhere releasing great singles and then disappearing again, it's really easy to see them as one faceless, nameless fuzz. Not so for Fergus & Geronimo, who released a 7-inch on Woodsist, seemingly out of the blue, and are now following it up with an even better pair of songs on UK-based label Transparent. Regular FADER contributor Scott Wright talked to the duo about their favorite songs, which reminded us that Van Morrison is awesome and also that Transparent is letting the world download both poppy, garage-y (but not snotty) Motown-influenced sides for free. But we recommend buying this one for the excellent cover art and love of hardworking Americans British people.
