Parisian producer Joakim has a new track, "Love & Romance & A Special Person," that some might say is electro, others might say lovelorn hominoids, twiddly Meat Puppets guitar and silver vocals over a calisthenic but squatty bassline. Add it all up and it feels like making out on the couch in France while watching spy movies on mute. Because who needs love when you've got disco lust?
